I have a Compaq Presario F500 PC (Yes I know it is outdated but I can't afford a new one). It has an NVIDIA 6100 Go Graphics Card (Although it is much stronger than it should be thanks to laptopvideo2go.com.) I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit (Yes... I know it is a memory hog) & I have 1 gig of ram but can upgrade to 2 gigs. Would it make my games faster if I upgraded my ram would it just be a waste of money?
Thanks for your help.

Well depends on what you mean by games. Regular pc games or do you mean games as in games on dolphin? Regardless I think you should upgrade, you will see your system performance more than double (your probably thinking that's impossible but it's true for some reason), MOST games will also perform much better particularly games made in the last few years, and I'm not sure if it would help with dolphin since I don't know how much virtual mem certain games use on dolphin.

yes it would because it allows dolphin the extra memory since almost all of your memory is being used by vista itself

Oh yeah. If you have more memory, more speed you get.
For Example with enough virtual memory, the use of your CPU will be minimun as possible if you have slight RAM the process you have active will consume it.
