Oh really, well that means AMD GPUs is absolutely out of the question for my next build in the future then.

And that really isn't news for ati 05-01-2012, 02:22 AM

I don't know what the man with the ugly smug face picture symbols but I'm with Squall on this one.

OK, the image must have confused me then because it kinda gives mixed feelings. I interpreted it in a wrong way, my bad.

I've been getting okay performance with my 7850, that is, excluding the part where Dolphin randomly crashes talking about some big graphical error while my graphics card does a momentary restart. I haven't the slightest what could be causing it. Doesn't seem to be limited to one game, as it's happened with several games.

Dolphin is one of the most important emulators to have and use. From AMD we have the Faildozers and now problems with the 7000 series GPU cards it seems. I'm not sure I even want to look anymore in their direction. Although I haven't had any problems with the 6950 card yet, knocking on wood but it looks like after that card have done it's job it's time to leave AMD the giant sinking ship and their products for good. It doesn't exactly ooze quality from them, more like bad cheese. |
