I noticed that my newly bought Fury X is doing worse than my old 280X. Getting crazy fps drop in zelda tp when upping internal resolution, same setting with my worse graphic cards gets steady 30 fps.

Have you enabled high performance mode via amd control center yet ?
If this doesn't work , you must wait for new driver from amd
This does happen all the time when you buy a new gpu

Could be related to the driver. I'm getting about half my normal performance when using the new 15.7 driver compared to the 15.3 driver. I'm on Linux though and can only test OpenGL. Are you also using the 15.7 driver?

I'm on 15.04 currently. I just haven't updated my profile in a while.

Try installing the newer drivers that just got released, maybe the ones on the cd were outdated.
