EXPERIMENTAL:
rewrite frame dumping and screen shots to make them more stable and correct
enable viewport resizing for all cards, the emulation is more correct in this
way
test this a lot please.

Well now, taking Direct3D9 screenshots has been stabilised, but there has been a great benefit to this now.

You know that awkward skipping and pausing that would happen in games, like when the map screen loads or the world select loads in New Super Mario Bros, or when the Star select comes up in Mario Galaxy?
That's been eliminated! Games runs not only fast, but much much smoother!

Edit: Some small bits might still come up but we're talking way less than before.

Congrats to rodolfoosvaldobogado for this achievement!

Last revision to alter Direct3D was 4965, and compared to that, this one runs much smoother. Smile

You can get the latest revision here:
http://www.dolphin-emu.org

4977 just included a fix to correct scaling when rendering to main window, but if you disable that you will get the best speeds.

And yes, Mario galaxy actually runs much smoother! Big Grin

This revision is more stable than other furthermore the graphic is better. I think, but there are some new problems with some games.

that's cool indeed! I'll try this with Fatal Frame 4 later...there were always those small lag points when the camera changed.

hmmm...I tried "Tatsunoko vs. Capcom" and I thiiink it's gotten a bit better at the character selection...in fights at some heavy attacks there's still annoying lag, though
