A few times tonight when Ive tried to use the Stop button while playing Twilight Princess GC, it has instead decided to freeze and then force me to close the emulator entirely. This is on the BARE BONES build of 4844. I have found that TP plays nearly full speed on my rig with the non-addon builds. Also, at one point, it failed to recognize my gamepad, and would not fix until I rebooted the CPU.
  • Intel Core i7-2600 QC processor (8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)
  • CPU Instructions : MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4.1, 4.2), EM64T, VT-x, AES, AVX
  • ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Game Critique from 1999: We will hopefully never see a game like Link's Super Archery Contest. If we did then I think Link would become just another me-too character. - Link's Crossbow Training

Well the "stop" crash is very common and ... how do you get full speed in zelda TP ? in what areas ?

And the gamepad problem seems to be more a OS problem that a dolphin problem ( or maybe are your configs )

No, because I went into the Windows gamepad CP and the game controller was working properly, may have been related to one of the 'crashes'. That was actually the first thing I checked, besides trying another game.

And the speed for example, I'm in the first part where Link is a wolf, after the ambush at the lake and you first meet Minda (I assume its Minda). Normally on the Orleans builds I only get between 60-70%, but in the bare-bones build I get above 85% consistently. Using D3D plugin with only 'Render to Main Window' selected beyond default (OpenGL crashes the emulator after 10-15 minutes for some odd reason on here, may be related to ATI Radeon cards)

I can confirm that dolphin freezes or crashes when pressing ESC or the Stop button in many cases (feels like 50-60%).

Another thing is, when using Fullscreen (without "Render to mainwindow") and Dolphin is the meaning, the Wiimote disconnected (the LED of the Wiimote and Windows are showing it me different) , the window for reconnecting opens behind the game. When I now do return from fullscreenm it freezes in 100% of the cases.

A funktion like "Auto reconnect" would be nice.
