okay so i've tried everything to boost my pc up and turns out overclocking my nvidia 8600 gt video card works best. I use rivatuner. For NSMB im running in at 63 fps and 30-50 in game in SVN revision 4623 win32. everything seems to be running right but i wish it were more steady. it crashes after the first in game save and the framerate isn't steady. i've seen youtube videos of people running their NSMB on dolphin emu at 50+. any idea how i go about this?

and yea keep it up with the builds! has anyone else besides me notice a HUGE improvement in tatsunoko vs capcom??? my runs nearly** 90-115%!!! it looks even better than the wii!!!!!!!!! it slows down a bit after a K.O. but its playable.

WARNING: DO NOT overclock your videocards by large increments! do it slowly in small steps or else you might fry it! my card lasts about 2 hours at the setting i leave it at and then it shuts down (it automatically minimizes my game). you can also overclock your RAM but i think this is even more dangerous. do it at your own risk! You can also overclock opengl by increasing the intelisampling but i don't know how that'll improve the framerate in Dolphin. you'll probably need a plugin for that

here are my specs:
Hp Pavilion m 1297 c @ 3.3 ghz
nvidia 8600 gt overclocked at 1,233 mb
3 gig ram (without overclocking)
OS: Windows 7

I don't think overclocking the graphics card will do much here...the CPU is more important for emulation
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

it will only help if your graphics card can't render the frames as fast as your cpu can render then. Most integrated cards are like this
and overclocking your ram isn't really that risky, I always overclock EVERYTHING to it's limits.
