Try 3.0, and use "Tilt".

i'm new to this whole dolphin emulator thing so please forgive me if i ask any stupid questions

i just downloaded this emulator(the latest version), and i have an original wiimote(wiimote plus) which i've just recently bought. i was able to connect the wiimote, but when i start the game, at the bottom of the main window, it says that my wiimote is not connected(or it will say connecting... forever), and when i press a button from the wiimote, i get no response. the LED on the wiimote is 'on' the entire time. is it something wrong with the emulator, or my wiimote is faulty?

also, another question, if i have a wireless sensor bar + wiimote + nunchuck, i should be able to play right? or are there any other configurations that i need to change in the emulator first?

What revision are you using?

Yes. I don't know if you're talking about emulated or real Wiimotes, but real just works and for emulated just configure the nunchuk as an extension.

I am also wondering what the difference is between selecting Hybrid Wiimote & Emulated Wiimote for my 360 controller? Both choices have the same button mappings, so I'm not sure how they are different. Is one better than the other? I'll try configuring Tilt in 3.0 as you suggested. Thanks.

Hybrid Wiimote lets you do a couple of button mappings but still uses a real Wiimote. I use it mostly for pointer emulation (no wireless sensor bar) and leave the rest to the Wiimote. Emulated Wiimote maps all buttons to the keyboard with no actual Wiimote connected.

Okay, thanks for the info. How do you get the PC to recognize the Wiimote without a sensor bar?

Your PC will recognize the Wiimote just fine without a sensor bar. However, the pointer will not work. To fix that select hybrid Wiimote and then Configure, then Default and middle click everything except the Pointer settings.
