Question
i'm a little confused about the efb2ram setting, some threads i found say it uses system ram, some say it doesn't. which is it?

2nd, does faster ram improve the performance of the efb2ram setting?

The EFB2RAM setting enables more accurate emulation of how the GC does its graphics, but that accuracy comes at a high performance cost, because PC hardware isn't designed for the kinds of operations that GC hardware can do easily. The setting causes more strain on your CPU, because it makes emulating the GC more difficult; the speed of your RAM is irrelevant. You should always disable EFB2RAM to get better performance on games that support EFB2Texture; only use EFB2RAM if the game you're playing doesn't work with EFB2Texture.

Thanks for the explanation. Smile
