Currently, updating your Dolphin build and graphics driver (not sure if the latter is correct) requires a new shader cache to be generated from scratch. Will the upcoming "uber shaders" still need to be generated anew with each new driver and Dolphin build?

It won't matter; it'll probably take a couple minutes max. The ubershaders shouldn't need to be changed/updated unless the build changes something in the shader generation.

Great to hear the shader generation will typically not change with build updates. Thanks

Is there a place where I can read up on these so called "uber shaders"? I am very interested in learning about them. Shader generation stutter is by far the most hampering part of the Dolphin emulation experience for myself and many others.
