Hi,

I want to play Skyward Sword, but i know the game needs Motion Plus, which i got.
However, i hate playing with the Wiimote as i basically can't unless i stand far away from the monitor.

So i wonder, is there any way to make it work with an 360 controller?
I know there was a branch with that support before, but i would like to use 5.0.

Could one perhaps have a motionplus connected and use the 360 instead to trick the game?

The thing is, i could handle the Motionplus thing (which is tilting?), but it's the sensorbar thing that is the dealbreaker, it's too much of a painSad

Please don't say anything about the game itself!

ThanksBig Grin

I just beat Skyward Sword with Dolphin 5.0

You need a real motion plus wiimote + the dolphinbar for the game to be actually playable and enjoyable.

I tried the 3.5 version with emulated motion plus a few years back but it was still pretty hard to control... I wouldn't recommend it.

Well i can use the Wii Sensorbar.
Problem is, i can't sit by my PC and use it, i break my arms if i try to do that.
I not a chance that i am going to stand when playing, i am one who plays for hours;S

It's only possible in those old unofficial builds. There are no 5.0 builds or even 4.0 builds with emulated MotionPlus.

I actually came here to make a topic about this, if I get no replies I'll make my own topic, but I was going to say if Dolphin devs gave me access to MotionPlus, I would write a GlovePie script which would allow players to play Skyward Sword with a 360 controller. I can't find any old builds with emulated MotionPlus support though.

Don't think I can do it? I'm a GlovePie Wizard, I can make it fun. Others probably tried and failed.

The channel that was released doesn't patch the game. It can only be used to fix save data that already has become broken because of the bug.

Installing the channel works the same way as any other Nintendo channel. There's probably instructions for it somewhere, but I don't remember where...

Ah, so, if i happen to get the bug (which i guess i would notice), it can just fix it then by patching the Save file?

Yes

The simplest way would just be to avoid triggering the bug in the first place though.

Well i don't want to know about the bug, as i don't want information, already got too much information randomly on the game xD
But have begun it, will hope for the bestSmile

Oh btw, is it possible to calibrate the Wiimote change the Tilting Center?
Cause i tried calibrating and when it says "put on the table blabla" i simply hold it in my hands default position (which is almost pointing upp as i sit weird).
But still after the calibration it doesn't see that position as "Center".

Hope someone understand what the hell i am trying to say -_-.
