Okay, so I'm still a little bit confused on the whole shader cache thing. I know it needs to be built up for Smash Bros Brawl by using all the characters and all the stages and stuff, and I have been working on that.
But what are some things I shouldn't do? I've heard that switching versions of Dolphin depletes the entire cache, which sucks because I would like to use my PR release for games with Texture Packs so I can pre-load them, and then use a normal, more updated version of Dolphin for everything else. Is this true?
What other things should I stay away from in order to keep the cache clean?
I ask because I'm doing a Project M tournament next month, and it would be terrible to have the lag at the beginning of matches.
