How do I shut it off, so that it doesn't use batteries when I'm not using it ?

Usually Your Wiimote should shut itself off when you don't use it for 5-10 min. otherwise turn it off manually and reconnect it when you need your wiimote again.

Ok, thanks.
Another question, it worked fine for House of the Dead, then I got the "reconnect" messsage and then the pointer stopped working. Now it only works if I put it very close to the sensor bar. Does this mean that the sensor bar's batteries need changing ? (I only had 3 new ones and used an old one for a fourth) 03-03-2010, 01:39 AM
I don't think that it is because of the batteries, when It works fine before the reconnect. but I didn't have such an error so I don't know sorry
