I've always wanted to know if there is a substantial difference in performance between a Core i7 and another brand of processor (Core 2, Core i3, Core i5) running at the same clock speed. If it's true, can someone tell me why? Thanks.

The Core i7's got no real advantage over the i5 as far as Dolphin is concerned due to the lack of using more than 4 cores.
