Zelda Skyward Sword uses the Motion Plus to move the cursor, not the IR. Get a real sensor bar to prevent this...

I do not use the nunchuk's and hybrid remote. In hybrid mode, you can normally use accelerometers remote.

Let's see if I understand: you want to play Skyward Sword, you have a sensor bar, you have a Wii Remote Plus but you don't have the Nunchuk, so you're trying to use Hybrid Wiimote to emulate Nunchuk only, right?

In that case, in Hybrid Wiimote settings, make sure all Wiimote buttons are blank (except for Nunchuk buttons, of course) and see if that helps. If not, post a screenshot of your Hybrid Wiimote settings...
