Is there any way I can patch custom textures to an ISO permanently?
Question about dumping textures...

Yes, you are correct. But, Wiiscrubber doesn't replace textures, it replaces files in the ISO. Usually textures are stored in other files.
Like for SSBB textures are in .pac/.pcs files. But for GoldenEye Wii, I don't know which files hold textures. So, since Dolphin can temporarily write textures to the ISO, it should be possible to permanently write them. Should it not? 04-07-2012, 02:26 AM
I don't know, afaik Dolphin cannot do that.
but if you want your Textures permantently, you should convert them in the .pac/.pcs format (pls don't ask me, how this works i dunno ^^) and replace them with the WiiScrubber. 04-07-2012, 03:13 AM
Quote:since Dolphin can temporarily write textures to the ISO Dolphin doesn't put the textures in the iso, what happens is when the graphics backend asks for a texture, dolphin sends it the wrong one (found in the folder, not the iso). However, I can say that it is possible with other software to sneak custom textures into an iso permanantly.

It totally depends on the game. For Brawl, use BrawlBox, it should let you replace most textures and save a new .pac or .pcs: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=238861&
