Hi, I've been using dolphin for a while on my iMac but have always used the emulated classic controller. Recently I've been trying to connect a real wii remote to my mac to no avail.
While I am able to set up the wii remote to my mac via bluetooth without a dongle (shows up as "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01"). Dolphin (3.0-917) does not recognise a connected remote when I hit refresh and 1+2. It does however, when I hit the red reset button at the back of the remote instead.
Despite this, the lights on the remote continue to blink and stop after a few seconds, and is not connected. (It also only connects with my mac while the lights are blinking, and disconnects when the blinking stops.)
I was wondering if this was simply because I was using a mac, or if a remote requires different setup steps if it was previously used with a real wii. Or if it's some other issue I'm not aware of.
Please give some suggestions as to what I could do to connect the wii remote to my mac. Many thanks.
On a side note, does the wii remote give a buzz when it is successfully connected?
