can a phenom ii x4 955 or 965 OC @ 4.0GHz run say SMG or SMG2 at full speeds?

if any1 has this processor please let me know, i know the i7 can, but if i could get the phenom to run full speeds, im going to buy it.

and by full speeds i mean run around 55-60 fps for most of the game. im not worried about the occasional drop on a single planet or 2, as long as around 90% of the game is run around 60fps.

if not im going to buy an i7.

My e8500 at 4.3ghz doesn't do full speed all the time but most of the time. So don't expect that x4 to but I think you will be okay with that x4.

this seems like popular subject.

anyway yes i think if u have good gfx card, phenom II x4 give u fullspeed or at least 95%. if u have more money buy i7 for 100% always.

I have the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition running at 3.8 GHz, I don't want to overclock to 4 GHz because it's unstable, but with 3.8 GHz i get fullspeed most of the time Smile.
New computer, I'm back!
