Qt and Assembly?

According to this table a small part of Dolphin is written in Assembly: https://www.openhub.net/p/dolphin-emu/analyses/latest/languages_summary

My question is does this also refer to Qt? If this is the case could anyone (or name one who can) tell me how Qt was set up to link and compile assembly files?

ps.: I have asked this question on Stackoverflow and different forums but no one knew how to help me.
I managed to compile an assembly file to a .o binary but it was compiled inside the .exe and I could not call up assembly instructions via the extern "C" function.

We don't use plain assembly. But we use intrinsics for SSE/AVX usages. They are inlined in the C headers and linked in the same way. So as long as you are going to use the C calling convention, just write your function prototypes in C and implement the function itself with inlined assembly.

Interesting. Does this method support 64-bit assembly? iirc VS only supports inline assembly for 32-instructions
