hi all, i was wondering if it is possible to control the IR pointer (motion Sensor) with a control stick?

the IR is needed for wii games like:

1) Link's crossbow training
2) bakugan battle brawlers
3) Zelda Twilight princess
4) Zelda skyward sword
5) metriod prime 3
6) metriod other M

i was wondering it it is doable to control the pointer with the control stick for these games.

thanx

Yes, but I would highly recommend doing so on the latest beta version of dolphin.

thanx so much for the ini,
so, i just rename it to the game id that i want to use it for and place it in the controller profiles folder of dolphin emu?

eg. SOUP01_Wii0.ini?

also, what settings should the Motion controls be set to if using IR on a gamepad?

1) Use device sensors (with pointer emulation)
2) Use device sensors (without pointer emulation)
3) Don't use device sensors

also, for IR are only Up,down, left, right needed or also backwards, frontwards to be mapped?

not every wii games needs IR tho, only the ones above.

You should set it to 2 or 3 when the IR is mapped to a gamepad.

Sorry for the edits. My browser or gboard is being screwy

np, thanx for this, i added the Suop01_wii0.ini (inwiimote/profiles folder) for the wii games that needed this setting for IR and it works great Smile

so, i should also add in the gamesettings.ini (renamed to gameid.ini) for each game with IR also in the gamesettings folder also along with the wiimote profile ini?
