PSA: Issues with Mario Kart Double Dash Widescreen Code

This is sort of a PSA, but I would like to warn everyone that the widescreen gecko code (NTSC-U) for Mario Kart DD on the wiki causes some performance issues in game. With the code enabled, it induces occasional stuttering, about 10 or so stutters per race. Playing in 4:3 or the built-in widescreen hack, the game ran at 100% speed the entire time with zero stutters or slowdowns. This code also makes LAN play almost impossible, as each instance of the game stutters, making all other instances stutter as well. Again, playing on 4:3, or built-in widescreen hack, and linking 4 instances of the game in LAN worked perfectly, with no slowdowns or stutters. Also, less important, the gecko code also duplicates the item sprite on the HUD, but that is just a cosmetic issue. This was all running on a decently powerful machine (GTX 1070, i5-8600k, 16 GB RAM) so stutters in Mario Kart should not have been happening.

The stuttering performance is not a problem with that widescreen code itself, it's a problem that Dolphin currently has with Gecko codes in general.

Why have we not reverted this change? So many people come and complain about it, and there's no information anywhere that would let people know that it happens.

My guess would be that it´s simple enough to fix... for now (delete current builds´ codehandler -> copy-paste 5.0 stable´s codehandler).
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

reverting the codehandler to the old one actually would break many button activated gecko codes @Kurausukun
