So I am using my PS4 controller to connect it to the application and play with it but I have a problem. The application reads my inputs when I am binding the buttons to it but once I load a game and try to move with the joystick nothing happens. All the other buttons work as they should but the joystick which allows movement does not. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

*NOTE* that even when connecting the controller via bluetooth the joystick still does not work. I am thinking that it has something to do with the app and the PS4 controller. If I could get any help that would be fantastic.

Thanks!

Which game are you trying to play, and which type of emulated controller did you configure?

I have tried running: Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, SSX 3, Luigi's Mansion, and a few others.
Once plugged into the S9+ with the OTG, I got to the Gamecube input and selected the first option and followed through with the emulated setting. From there I just began binding the buttons with the PS4 controller similiar to the Gamecube's buttons. Using the Left Joystick on the PS4 controller, which is normally movement, to the Control Stick option. And there is where my problem is, no matter what game, I cannot move whatsoever using that left stick. If I bind my right joystick to the control stick I can move. This is happening with 3 different PS4 controllers so I'm sure it isn't a faulty PS4 contoller.

Oh okay, it seems like some kind of problem that's exclusive to the Android version of Dolphin...

Any idea what I should do to troubleshoot any further? Should I just submit it somewhere to see if someone can look into it?

You can submit it to https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/projects/emulator, but honestly, it's unlikely that it'll get looked at any time soon because we don't really have any active Android developers right now.

Yeah that's kind of unfortunate to hear. I'll submit one anyway to see what happens. Thanks for the help Jos!
