Hi. Hopefully someone can help me with this. I am using Dolphin Master 5.0-20957-x64 and connected a third-party wireless PS4 controller via DS4Windows. I had to connect it this way since that's the only way Dolphin would recognize it. I finally got it to work and mapped out all of the buttons and calibrated the sticks. Everything works perfect except one thing. While playing RE4 if I press the B button to run Leon stutters while he is moving forward, almost like he is vibrating.
If I double click the button to run then it is very smooth with no issues. I remapped the buttons several times and the issue persists. So far, RE4 is the only game I have tried. Standard gamecube controllers work fine, as well as wiimotes. I discovered that there are other parameters if I right-click on each button in the config menu, but I have absolutely no idea what they do. If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
EDIT: I was finally able to correct this issue by disabling the turbo function on the controller.
