Hello all,

I recently downloaded Dolphin and have had success running games on it. I have even been able to connect my PS4 controller successfully and map the buttons in a convenient way. However, I am having a lot of issues when it comes to the control sticks. I have gone through and tested many variations of the radius and deadzone settings, but I am unable to stop the control stick from continuing to move after I have stopped pressing it in the desired direction. Basically, if I press down and I am on a list of options, 9/10 times the selected option will continue to scroll even when I have stopped moving the control stick. I am curious if anyone has any suggestions of any way I could remedy this. I am eager to try out the capabilities of the Dolphin emulator, but this controller issue is holding me back (I know I can map to keyboard if completely necessary, but I want to use the controller).

Show a screenshot of your configuration with the controller currently connected.

Your "Radius" setting of 50 is too low.
Please update to a recent version of Dolphin which has replaced "Radius" with a more friendly "Calibration" feature.

Your "Dead Zone" of 50 is crazy high, but it wouldn't cause the problem you're having.

Which game specifically are you having trouble with?

Here is an example of my issue. I am not holding down the control stick, I am simply pushing it lightly and the cursor shoots across the screen.

And what version of Dolphin would you recommend given the specs that I am working with?

It only says "dolphin 2" because I didn't delete my other version, but this happened before when I tried to use this version.

The latest version of Dolphin is compatible with OS X 10.12 and later. Are you using a version that's older than that?

My MacBook says that I am on version 10.12.6. I am unsure why I am getting this message when I try to access this version of Dolphin.
