Hi guys,

I have installed ds4windows but am doing my mapping via Dolphin > Gamepad. Can map all buttons except from PS4 Dpad. Every other button responds with a positive result, dpad buttons seem to send no signal or atleast not picked up by dolphin.

Any ideas ?

Please post screenshots of your DS4Windows and GameCube/Wii mapping windows.

Thank you

Please note the DPad UP is currently showing my analog stick click. This was due to testing. But if i press any DPAD button this does not register and soon defaults.

In DS4Windows your Dpad is listed as Right > Right, Left > Left, Up > Up, Down > Down, so your DualShock should be mapping to an Xbox controller's Dpad. However in Dolphin you have G, F, H, and I'm assuming previously T. Those are the default keyboard controls for the dpad, so I'm assuming you forgot to map them.

I also spotted one small issue. You mapped L and L-Analog (and the same for R) on separate buttons. Just map the analog and digital versions of each button to the appropriate triggers, making them the same. That is to emulate the dual-action analog then click than the GameCube controller triggers have.

Also remember to calibrate your joysticks! It'll work without it but it will work better with it.

Hi May,

thanks for this. the problem is trying to map in dolphin - i can click on all the button options within dolphin, press the corresponding button on the PS4 controller and the mapping updates, however, when pressing the DPad keys to map the Dpad section this doesnt appear to be registering. No option is received to dolphin and the mapping defaults.

For instance, if i click on the "G" beside down, and then press the Down button on my Dpad the button will remain as ".." for a few seconds before returning to G.
