I'm trying to map my ps3 controller to Dolphin, but the red lights won't even flash. I bought gamepad companion and tried to map my controller to the same keyboard functions that Dolphin uses, but it saw through my scheme. I'm sure this is a newby question, but how can I map my dualshock3 to Dolphin?

Yes, it is connected via bluetooth and does work with steam games.

First, I'm going to assume you are using Motion in Joy. Don't, it sucks. Use the SCP drivers instead. No ads, run by a nice guy, open source, no stealing, you know, BETTER. - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wr...#pid288628

Now, "the red lights won't even flash", assuming those are the lights on the DS3, is definitely not Dolphin's fault. But you said it works in steam? Yea I'm confused. As long as it works in other games, it should work in dolphin. Remember to select the DS3 (Xinput or whatever it's set to) in the Device Dropdown of the GCPad. Then you can set things and it will work.

Also, you didn't state your Dolphin version or the game you are trying to play.

Oh, by red lights I mean the little red light things in the Dolphin program. I've just seen them in the configuring videos that show that Dolphin is reading my thing.

3.5 and Paper Mario TTYD. I'll check out the SCP drivers!

I should also note I'm using OSX, I don't believe either Motion In Joy and SCP work for Mac.
