Ps3 controller wireless help

Hi im soon getting my nexus 9 and was wondering the best way to connect my dual shock 3 controller to it without the sixaxiss app which needs root access.ive got the otg cable etc bt nt sure how to do this

I was about to answer this until I saw this was PS3, not PS4. I'll just say... not possible without root.

Both PS3 and PS4 controllers work on the SHIELD TV. PS3 controllers anywhere else you're SOL.
