Switched from Dolphin 4.0 to 3.0 ( 3.0 was faster ) and had my PS3 controller working fine with 4.0. When I map all the controls in 3.0 and try to play F-ZERO GX my controls arn't recognized by the game. Btw I do have motion joy installed. I use a wired connection for the PS3 controller too. Any ideas why It's not recognized by the game?

We don't support older versions of Dolphin here. At the very least, try 3.5 if 4.0's too slow.

Also double-check that Slot 1 is set to "Standard Controller" in Config > GameCube.

Yes I have the standard controller selected. Gonna try Dolphin 3.5 and see how that goes

Nope, still doesn't work in Dolphin 3.5 ( checked off standard controller in gc settings too )

Ok now its not working in dolphin 4.0 either :/

If you are attempting to move control profiles from one version of dolphin to another, there was a major change in controller profiles between 3.5 and 4.0. Set it up manually in 4.0 and it should work again.

Also, don't use 4.0. Use 4.0.2 from the official site -> https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

Yes. Remap all the buttons and make a new profile.

On a side note, do you know how to transfer game saves between dolphin versions?

Ok got it working. Turns out that I had the mouse and keyboard inputs selected in the Wiimote 1 configuration and had the PS3 configuration in the Wiimote 2 setup so I cleared the Wiimote 1 config and now it uses my PS3 inputs.
