Hello im totally new with an emulator! I installed a ps3 controller, went to "Wiimote" settings, then what? There are so many options

1. Emulated Wiimote
a. DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse
b. DInput/0/MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller
c. SDL/0/MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller

2. Hybrid Wiimote
a. DInput/0/Keyboard Mouse b. DInput/0/MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller
c. SDL/0/MotioninJoy Virtual Game Controller

I chose everything , but nothing. I can confirm the controller works through control panel, controller options!
How i do it? Sad

PS: it says Connect controller to Player's 1 ....

Ok, first up. Don't use motion in joy, there is a better option. No ads, made by a nice guy, works more reliably, the works. Just remember to uninstall motion in joy first. If it gives you any trouble with motion in joy refusing to disappear, go to the device manager, find the motion in joy device, and uninstall it and check remove the driver. Motion in Joy's fault for that.

SCP Drivers RC1 - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller?pid=288628#pid288628

After that, you need to set up an emulated wiimote, select the device, and then assign buttons. Note that there is a little bug where you have to hit refresh after selecting a device otherwise it won't show, but it's no big deal. Then just click the button you want to assign, and press it on the controller. Very simple. Here's a guide for more help. I have a question actually about this. I currently use MotionInJoy, I've been very happy with it, but this actually looks more promising and I might give it a try and I may like it better. My only question is can I still use the SixAxis controls? I've actually been looking for a way to have those controls work alongside XInput mode. I'm tired of switching between XInput mode and PS3 DX-Input mode between Gamecube (plus any Xinput PC game) and Sideways WiiRemote titles (DX Input). As I use tilting forward for shake, because actually shaking the controller triggers that, and the left and right tilt as those for the emulated remote so I can play games like New Super Mario Bros and Kirby as intended but with sixaxis.

SCP doesn't have sixaxis support yet. Scarlet Crush focused on basic controller functionality first, and he'll add features as he goes along. Though, to be honest, demand for SixAxis seems pretty low. I have only seen one person (in a thread 70 pages long now) asking him about it. Maybe you should ask him, let him know you want it?

Hi guys!

I've tried for hours to make this XInput work with Toshiba bluetooth stack.. 1. I want to play my Gamecube games with my PS3 controller and 2. I want to use my real Wiimote (Which I need Toshiba stack for). My problem: When installing XInput Scarlet driver, it overrides the Toshiba driver and makes the Toshiba useless.. In other words I can't install Scarlet drivers and Toshiba at the same time..

Is there ANY workaround for this?

You must accept that the DS3 is not going to work with the Toshiba Stack. Or any other bluetooth stack that isn't purposefully designed to mimic a Playstation 3. Sony did some mucking with it that prevents it from pairing unless it's a specific driver just for PS3 controllers. You'll never get the Toshiba Stack to pair with it, period.

But there are two workarounds. The first one is the one I use: have two bluetooth dongles. Big Grin It isn't very difficult really, one bluetooth dongle with the Toshiba Stack, one bluetooth dongle with the SCP drivers. Works great. Just remember that the SCP drivers will try to override the Toshiba drivers, so you need to select the drivers manually. I described the process (back before I was using the Toshiba drivers, same rules apply though) here - http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller?pid=300105#pid300105

Other workaround: Just use a cord. It isn't that inconvenient.

Also, remember to use the SCP DS3 Drivers and not the Xinput Wrapper. The Xinput Wrapper is older and not as reliable.
