ps3 controller help? ( ANSWERED)

ok so i have my controll all set up through DS3 and all and when i configure it everything works fine, but when i start the game i get no response from my controller at all! any help?
( ps i am playing harvest moon : ToT)

edit:
ok so i figured it out ! make sure that you dont have it set up as a gc controller anywhere at all then make sure that you have it set as emulated wii mote and not hybrid wii mote! hope this helps someone else!

Did you set your port? options->config->gamecube->port 1 ( set to standard controller )

Yes I was able to map the controlls I was putting it in as a hybrid wiimote do I have to set it as a GameCube ? And if I do will it still work with harvest moon?

Its the gamecube version you're playing right? then just do as ulao said and map the buttons for the gamecube controller not the wiimote and it should work
......?????

no its Tot ( tree of tranquility) ,sorry i should have specified that it was the wii version! so is there any way to make it work as a wiimote?

You need to map your emulated Wiimote to the controller. Probably don't have the same buttons on the GameCube pad simultaneously, though. If you want to then disable the GameCube pad in the port settings that you were told to set up when we thought you were on the GameCube version.
