Okay, recently, I installed Dolphin and the game Super Mario Sunshine, my faviourite game since I were a child.
Okay, so I start playing and I start noticing it were harder and harder for each mission, because it's very hard to play with a keyboard.

Okay, let's get to the point.

I'm not a good computer guy.
I would really like to play Super Mario Sunshine with my playstation 3 controller.
Please give me a download link if theres any tools I need
please tell me how i connect my ps3 controller to PC and super mario sunshine
Please tell me how to change buttons Big Grin

Okay, kind regards,
Mikkito.

You can use this tool to get your PS3 controller working with Windows: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PS3-Controller-on-64-bit-windows-2-0?pid=225333#pid225333

To configure your controls, click the GCPad button and make sure the Device section corresponds to your PS3 controller. Now all you have to do is configure the buttons exactly like you did with your keyboard. Click the input you want to configure (the GC's A button for example) and press a button on your PS3 controller (the X button for example). It's as simple as that Wink

Note that this game uses pressure sensitive triggers when using FLUDD. You have to configure the L analog and R analog buttons. On a PS3 controller, I recommend you set these to the L2 and R2 buttons respectively. Actually, I think this game only uses the L analog, so you can reserve R2 for the GC's Z button.

Did you follow all of MaJoR's instructions in the link I posted? That should get PS3 controllers on Windows working. After that, you should be able to configure it in Dolphin.

Odd page to link to Shonumi. *shrug*

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

Download from there. You want the file "SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-1.0.0.103.7z", located at the bottom of the post. Installation is pretty simple, just follow the "New Install" instructions in the link. And make sure you update your 360 drivers as well. - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows

Whatever. Was the first result I got from a quick googling and you linked to the original thread in your post on PCSX2, so I figured that was good enough :p

Hmmm, I just use Motion Joy. Works fairly well and allows bluetooth communication with the PS3 controller.

You know not what you do. The SCP drivers are open source, no ads, run by a nice guy who actually answers questions, much more reliable, set and forget bluetooth (yes SCP has bluetooth, yes it's ten times better than MiJ's), not run by a greedy bastard like motion in joy is, and did I mention no ads? Yea, only a crazy person would keep using motion in joy when an alternative like this exists.

...it's not hard at all. I rather hate skype, so I'd much prefer doing it here. If you still need to chat, go to the #dolphin-emu channel on irc.freenode.net. I usually hang around there.

You need Microsoft .NET 4.0, the Visual C++ 2010 Runtime (x64 and x86 you can just install both), and the latest DirectX Runtime. These are all very normal things, and most are requirements to run Dolphin, so you should already have them.

Download this - http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows
Run that.

Download this - http://forums.pcsx2.net/attachment.php?aid=44084

Now do these instructions:
1. Connect your Dongle and DS3 via USB and let Windows install it's default drivers.
2. Unpack the archive.
3. Create a directory where you want the Service to run from. [Recommended - C:\Program Files\Scarlet.Crush Productions *]
4. Copy the contents of the ScpServer\bin to the directory you created.
5. Run ScpDriver.exe.
6. XP/Vista - check the Force Install option. Win 7/8 leave it unchecked.
7. Click Install.
8. Click Exit.

If you don't want bluetooth, just ignore the bit about the dongle, and uncheck "Bluetooth Driver" in ScpDriver.exe before installation.
