I have a PS3 controller hooked up to my PC that I've been using on a few other emulators, and they all work fine. Dolphin, however, won't recognize my analog sticks when I try to map the controls. It detects all of the buttons fine, but it won't work with the analog sticks. I'm running on the latest x64 v3.8-845.

Did you make sure to install the proper drivers for your PS3 controller?

If you're using DS3 tool as your driver, you have to open it and click enable for the analog sticks to work properly.
......?????

I use Motionjoy, which is DS3 Tool, and I've already done all of that. Like I said, it works perfectly on other emulators.

You should have made your own thread. But eh, since you're here, I'll help.

Simple solution: don't use motion in joy Big Grin. The SCP drivers are way better. No ads, more reliable, easier to use, set and forget bluetooth, open source, and run by a nice guy that actually will talk to you.

Oh I'm sry I thought since it was the same problem i could write here but ok , back to topic.
Isn't there another way than installing that ? Because I'm actually fine with motion joy and i dont care about the ads , additionally everthing works perfect on other emulators and on dolphin too its only the analog stick. It would be much easier for me if someone could just help me with this certain problem. What did he do and why cant i find the settings for that? The user who opened this thread had the same problem and in the end everything worked nice though using motion joy.

When there is no other way around it I maybe would install it , but i hope that there is another. ^^

Edit: Ok , Nevermind it suddenly works for unkown and mysterious reasons i can use the analog sticks now with using motioninjoy. Sorry for pushing an old thread like this but thanks for your help.
