Hello, what's up?

First, for my first thread to tell you guys that it's quite an awesome emulator you made there !

Secondly, I still have trouble playing my games with the mapped controls I've made. Does anyone knows what's the best mapping for using a PS2 controller with an PS2 to USB for using WII games ? (I have no problem using it for the GMC).

I've read that you need the "motion plus" for Zelda Skyward, how on hell would you configure and enable that on a simple controller as the PS2 ?

thanks

With motion control, it depends on the game and the situation in the game. It's not easy, but it can be done, sort of anyway. You just have to experiment with the game.

You must have read it wrong.

Dolphin Wiki Wrote:Skyward Sword requires the Wii MotionPlus add-on. Dolphin is currently not capable of emulating the Wii MotionPlus; the only way for official Dolphin builds to play this game is to use a real, physical Wii remote with Wii MotionPlus.

You have to have either a REAL wiimote with a REAL motion plus adapter, or a REAL wii remote plus. It's simple math really. A PS2 controller has 4 axis available to it, and a Wiimote with Wii MotionPlus and a Nunchuk is 13 axis (Wiimote 3 axis lateral, MotionPlus 3 axis rotational, Nunchuk 3 axis lateral, Nunchuk 2 axis joystick, wiimote 2 axis pointer). Games like skyward sword combine all of them at once to create the actions of the game. Trying that with a PS2 controller is not pretty.
