PS2 controller won't work

I have a PS2 controller using this adapter http://amzn.to/O7HLCp and Dolphin doesn't seem to recognize it, I've tried 3.0 and a more recent build and neither of them will even let me map the buttons in the Gamecube pad setup. I don't think the adapter is the problem since I haven't had a problem setting it up with other emulators and it's been quick and easy.

Do you install drivers for this converter?

In dolphin options set as device "DInput/1/Twin USB Vibration Gamepad". Or "DInput/0/Twin USB Vibration Gamepad" if previous doesnt work. Have a nice game, me too using this converter.
