Ps2 controller detected in setup, not in game

It apparently only requires a wiimote for this one very specific thing. I'll try to make my mouse emulate a wiimote and we'll see if I have any success with that. If anyone has good keyconfig ideas for that it would be neat if you shared.


EDIT: So I did some prancing around with making the wiimote emulated by my mouse. Originally I just added the options to the first control group but it made my controller not transmit any more (since I had to change the group to keyboard + mouse) so I added a second emulated wiimote. Sadly it doesn't work, not sure if the second wiimote is technically not doing anything in game (as in not connected) or my setup is wrong. here are images for the setup. If someone has ideas than feel free to share.
