PS Controller not working ingame

Pls ppl help! I don't know what to do anymore My PS controller is working fine when configuring buttons on gamecube but controller is not working when i enter the game. Controller will work ingame only if i set on wiimote and i don't want to use PS controller as wiimote. I was playing super mario galaxy 2 and super mario bros games. PLS HALP!

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and New Super Mario Bros Wii don't support GameCube controllers, so you will need to configure your controller as a Wiimote.
