Out of curiosity, why is the emulated Wii able to access your network adapter directly, but the emulated GameCube has to have a TAP adapter for the BBA to work?

When using OpenGL to start Wii Menu, i receive 3 times the Error message:

Unhandled texture type 37120

If i click OK, i hear the sound of the system menu, but the screen stays black.

If i switch to D3D11 it works fine

I wonder what they'd think if they found out that this emulator now has a feature specifically to give them money through the eShop and make legitimate purchases.

Slightly off-topic, but you guys know about Cemu, a Wii-U emulator? I only bring it up because when they make a new console, they usually sell it at a loss and make their money back off of the game sales. Imagine them trying to figure out whether to get upset or not if something like this happened with a newer console, where they could potentially make money from game sales WITHOUT the loss from selling the actual console.

I don't respect Cemu as much as I do the Dolphin team. Cemu says oh support us on patreon. I get it development is expensive but Dolphin has always asked for donations when they needed it(android version) and I have donated to them. Cemu holds their newest versions behind a paywall. I know they release it for everyone a week or two later but still, you are paying for an emulator if you want the newest features. I hope that once they get Dolphin 100% like they want to they can start on a Wii U emulator. As least they aren't "charging" for an emulator. I have no respect for Cemu at all. That is why Dolphin gets my money and not Cemu they don't pull shit like that.

Even if Dolphin becomes perfect, it's not necessarily the case that the same team will jump to a Wii U emulator. That said, a lot of the work on Decaf, the open-source attempt at Wii U emulation, has been done by people who've worked on Dolphin at some point.

When i try doing a system update it show error 32004. I don't know if this is because of not having keys.bin or a nand because my wii broke and my nand backup got deleted so i cant get any of those files. Could someone post a download of one, ive been looking all day and couldn't find one

Unfortunately, NAND dumps count as copyrighted content owned by Nintendo, so we're no more able to share them than we are to share games. You can get a lot of the contents of a Wii NAND legally via NUS Downloader, but it's missing some critical bits that are unique per-console, and isn't enough to access the shop with.

Okay, is the keys.bin copyrighted? And when I said my wii was broken my system menu is corrupted. I can access the nand with wiixplorer still but would i be able to get the files from it?

Well I don't have a real wii time to go buy one from ebay. Unless someone here has a wii they want to sell.
