I have been using the Dolphin dc-netplay version 4.0-652 with a few friends to play Project M, a Super Smash Bros. Brawl mod. One reoccurring problem is that it seems that we are spawning in different locations when booting up the game. We have to continuously reboot the game until it finally "syncs" the right version on that particular start-up. It seems only I see the different spawn locations and everybody else is always synced up. We all have the same revision of dolphin and the same settings. Any possible solutions?

Are you also using the same save file?
If you have a wiimote enabled, while using the GCpad, it could be one player clicked a button that activated the wiimote, while others didn't. (or these aren't even supported still, then nevermind)

Desyncing is caused by user error; but there are so many things a user could screw up that you should just redo every step in the process if you're one of the users who are desyncing.

(i.e. my screen will show that i spawned on the left but i would have spawned on the right for my friend). The input for controls are perfect and almost never desync. It seems that the random spawn generator is different. It almost resembles two different versions of brawl that are in sync with input but not content. It might just be a brawl thing but it is weird that this happens. (P.S. it will fix itself after a few reboots but it is NEVER correct the first launch of a session). 05-02-2014, 01:57 PM
That means your configuration is not right. Under the right configuration it will always be perfect.
