Project M crashes when attempting to launch

I checked the game support section first and couldn't find any mention of Project M so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by talking about it, but whenever I try to start up PM dolphin can handle the boot.elf just fine (including saving the VBI hook type) but when I hit play and it tries to load brawl and apply the codes and all that it freezes and I have to shut it down. I did try the smashladder netplay build as well to see if it was some update/regression in the dev builds or if my sd.raw or gecko file was messed up and that didn't work either. I recently bought an SSD and installed windows 10 LTSB alongside my old windows 7 hard drive and moved my sd.raw over from there where it worked fine and I even tried running dolphin from my old install directory and that didn't work either. Every other game I try to play works perfectly fine, I was wondering if anyone knows if its because of some error I made in configuring dolphin or maybe some sort of driver issue I haven't run into until now. I'm 100% percent sure I have all the same settings configured in the GUI as my old windows 7 setup (5.0-5226 then vs 5.0-3634 now) so maybe its some dependency I'm missing. I'll provide whatever logs anyone might want to try and help me get this figured out.

You'll want to build a Project M iso, as it much easier to use.

i had the same problem and had to remove the system menu as it would work with it. try a fresh install without installing a system menu, then the first time you run project m it will install some files from the disc. these will allow the game to run. i don't know why it wont work with the system menu installed it just won't.

ive been doing some testing and it seems that bluetooth passthrough is what is stopping is from launching.  If i disable bluetooth passthrough the game will launch.  If using bluetooth passthrough the game will freeze.  any chance you are using bluetooth passthrough?

That bug is annoying if it is, because it's not actually Dolphin having a problem but windows...

any thoughts of a workaround? or just keep changing drivers for that game to use standard bluetooth and not the passthrough?
