Hi guys I'm really liking the way Dolphin now runs Wii games but unfortunatelly a lot of gamecube games are not playable anymore for example Extreme G3, Pikmin and others, so my question is why not to separate the gamecube emu from the Wii emu so when advancing in Wii will make less regressions in gamecube.

I guess thats because nobody holds you from using an earlier version of the emulator

Are the devs focusing on wii more than gc? I don't think so, however some dev could clarify this. Some gc games, specifically my zeldas (windwaker and tp) now have partial sound, and so the wii counterparts I suppose for what I've been reading.

seeing the wii runs gamecube games I don't see how there is any regresion on this part of it. its the same code. just not as much extra stuff. all my gamecube games work just as well if not better in the newer releases.

I consider the recent emulation updates for F-ZERO GX progression. It proves that GC emulation is still ongoing.
