Recently I decided to clone the source code and compile it (At the time it was version 5.0-14002) rather than rely on one of the outdated packages on the apt repository and it has been amazing so far, all the features I want to work do so along with some new features that I hadn't seen. Despite this I currently have an issue with the emulator, whenever I open up a game in dolphin and shut it down after, The process continues to sleep indefinitely until I either manually kill it or when its killed by me shutting down my computer. This isn't a grave error by any means but it is quite annoying to shut down your computer just to be greeted with 'A program is still running' prompting me to click 'Shut Down Anyway' because I'm sure that nothing important is going on with that process (I might be wrong). If anyone could give me answers that would be greatly appreciated.
Process 'dolphin-emu' hangs after I close dolphin

I said it in my original post, I compiled the 5.0-14002 version of Dolphin and I am still using that version to this day. I don't know how to update an existing compiled Dolphin install so if you could tell me how that might help me. 05-21-2021, 02:13 PM

You should just have to clone the latest build from the repository to the same directory, update any of external packages, and recompile again. 05-23-2021, 12:54 AM
In the folder where you downloaded the Dolphin source code, run the following commands
Code: git pull origin All instructions from here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...n_on_Linux |
