Problems with syncing the Wii Remote Plus

Hello!

I am having difficulities with connecting the new Wii Remote Plus. I followed the guide on official wiki here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wii_Remote_Plus_%28RVL-CNT-01-TR%29_Connection_Guide

But first I noticed one difference at step4, when I press the sync button and Toshibe Bluetooth stack detects it, the device name is not "Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR" like in the guide.

Instead, I get a hex code "34:AF:2C:B8:17:5F"

When I press Next and no matter what Wiimote buttons I press (I tried different combos like waiting the Sync to end and then pressing A/B) I get the error "Detection of Service failed".


Please, help!

Anyway, the two things I can think of that could be causing this are a) a third-party Wii Remote (these rarely work well with Dolphin) or b) a Bluetooth adapter that doesn't work well with the Toshiba stack. My money's on the former, since I've never seen any of the latter (though I certainly haven't looked at every thread ever).

Btw, I found a solution to my problem - I bought a different Bluetooth dongle and my Wiimote Plus works great now!

To all other dolphin-emu forum members I can suggest - DO NOT BUY 4World Bluetooth Class I Mini v.1.2 doungle!

It doesn't even do Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, which is required for Wii Remotes. No wonder you had issues with it.
