Hello, I am kind of new to this emulation thing, and am wondering about a few issues I am having with running Super smash Bros Project M.
When I first tried Project M on dolphin, it was very laggy and skippy, video and audio wise. I had to mess around with the settings a lot, but now the game runs fine, even though the fps still fluctuates slightly and it lags when I turn on items.
The thing is, even though it runs pretty smoothly, there is noticable input delay in the game. I am using a mayflash gc controller adapter, and even though there is no noticeable input delay in the controller configuration screen, I can hardly play SSB because the input lag is so bad. I have tried many versions of dolphin, and basically every possible combination of settings, and I can't seem to fix it.
Besides the input delay problem, the game runs okay but I am curious about the existing fps fluctuation while playing. From what I've read on the internet, my computer should be able to run project M pretty well (I think), but sometimes my fps goes down to like 50 while i'm playing for no reason. This happens in Brawl as well.
It seems like I have tried everything... Is my pc just not good enough? Since I play other games like BF3 on this computer on medium settings, I thought that SSB would be fine...
Any solutions that I might not have tried yet?
also, is this the right place to post a question like this?
