Hello! I'm playing this game and i'm in chapter 2, in the giant tree level. I'm in the part where you have to free the Puni Elder with the Red key. I found the key and opened the cage, however the puni (and Mario, and the game) just stay still. I'm using R4298, and tried R4312 and R4364, but with no avail.

But i've other (minor) problems with this game. In parts where i should see many enemies (like the first battle with the X-Nauts or when you see a lots of punies) i can't see them, just they're shadow. And the third problem is when i use Dolphin R3972 or R3089, i just see the screen all black (but i can hear the music and stuff).

Thanks!

Mm....You could post your specs.
Try using latest REV. I remember that there was a thread about that part of the game.

Download this Dolphin 3286 I atached to the post and copy your Memory Card file from "Your Normal Dolphin directory\User\GC\" to "The Dolphin you downloaded from here directory\User\GC\" It's name should be something like: MemoryCardA.USA or MemoryCardB.USA (I suggest copying both). Now just load the game in the DolphinIL.exe you downloaded from here, load the save and it works! Sorry if I didn't explain well.

You could try that.

Is there any new info on this? I tried revision 4771 and 5054 and experience invisible x-naughts or whatever they are and invisible dry bones squadron that chucks you outside the castle etc..

The problems I noticed:

1) invisible X-Naught squadron at the docks (only shadows can be seen)
2) Boat you arrive in, when it turns around the transition effect is screwed.
3) when entering pipes and stuff the transition is screwed.
4) After speaking to the pink Dry Bones and when getting thrown out, the mass of dry bones carrying you are invisible but not there shadows.
5) when taking your first Quiz Challenge, the transition effect works to a degree but I think the colours are wrong as it happens.

etc. etc. seems like the special FX in the game aren't emulated well. I like the xbox360 plugin and don't know when that was first introduced and when it reached maturity so please keep build suggestions to ones you know contain that plugin.
