Ok, so basically I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy on Dolphin 5.0, and I have a real Wiimote along with a real nunchuck. I also have a bluetooth USB Adapter to connect my wiimote. all worked fine in "real Wiimote" mode, until I realized pointing a the screen using IR is a big part of Super Mario Galaxy. So, for like, the first 10 stars in the game, I kept switching from "real wiimote" to "emulated wiimote" whenever I had to, So I could use my mouse as the pointer. After a while, I realized you could also just use the "Hybrid wiimote" mode, so I tried it. I had the configuration for the mode in "Default", and when I started the game it said communications with the Wiimote were lost. After searching on forums, I learned that you couldn't use the default mode with Hybrid mode. So I did the configuration manually in order to be able to use my Mouse for the pointer and my Wiimote for the rest. It completely worked. but One day, when I launched Super Mario Galaxy and selected my save file as usual to start playing, Mario went to the upper right on his own. I wasn't touching the nunchuck. and No, unplugging and replugging the nunchuck didn't work, and I wasn't touching the nunchuck at all when I launched the game. So I took the batteries out of the controller and put them back in, restarted the game, and it worked. Another day, this happened again, and taking the batteries out didn't work anymore. I restarted the game several time, fiddled with the controller configurations, and it worked after like, 30 minutes of doing that. Here I am today, and it doesn't work AT ALL. I've been fiddling all afternoon, it does not work. keep in mind that when I go to "real Wiimote" mode, it works perfectly fine, so it's not a hardware issue in terms of my Wiimote and its nunchuck. However, I found out later on that this happens when the extension in the configuration is set to "none", and when I set it to "Nunchuck" Mario doesn't go to the upper right on his own anymore, however the nunchuck does not work at all. So I can't move unless I configure my keyboard to do so in the configurations. But I want to use the Nunchuck. and I can't. So either Mario walks on his own but the nunchuck works, either it does not at all but Mario doesn't move (I can make him jump though, since you do that using the A button that is not on the nunchuck but on the Wiimote itself.)
So this is a really strange issue. Especially because I didn't use to have this problem and it randomly popped up. I sincerely hope there is some sort of configuration you can use so that one of the issues stop. Because otherwise I'll be doomed to use the "real Wiimote" mode and have to switch to "Emulated Wiimote" whenever I need the pointer (often).
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help!!!
