Hey guys, I'm having some problems to play MarioKart Wii with 2-players. The question is, my fps drops to the half of when I'm in single player mode. I'm thinking that is because I don't know how to setup the emulator.

My config is:
Win7 64bits - Dolphin (64bits - SVN R6569)
AMD PhenomII X4 945
ATI Radeon 4870 512mb (res. 1920x1080)
4GB Ram / 500GB HD

i think my PC is able to run mario kart with stable 60fps, but it doesn't happens. How should I setup the emulator to make that happen?

* Interface settings ................................ disable "Use Panic Handlers"

--------------------- DirectX9 General ---------------------
* Aspect ratio ......................................... Auto
* Anisotropic filtering .............................. 16x
* Anti-Aliasing ........................................ 4x SSAA
* Load native mipmaps ........................... Checked
* Pixel Lighting ....................................... Checked
* Force bi/trilinear filtering ...................... Checked
* EFB Scaled copy .................................. Checked
* EFB Scale ............................................ Fractional
* Enable CPU access ............................... Unchecked
* EFB copy ............................................. Texture

Jebus, I've tried the setup u posted and I got 60 fps in 2-player, but sometimes fps drops to ~10 even in single or 2p mode. For me, it's good, and I think that better than this I can't get. Thanks for your help.

another questions.
Where can I get the file to install Wii Menu?
Where I find the save of MK in the emu folder?

i dunno how fast your system is but, i get full speed with multiple players on mario kart wii with rev 5739 with the following settings: framelimit: off, use fps for limiting: disabled, audio throttle: disabled, vsync: on.

with those settings i will still get fps drops, sometimes in the low 50's, yet the game itself doesnt slow down. somehow the frameskipping works properly on this revision. wish it still did =\

If you have problems getting a stable 60 fps why don't you use a 30fps gecko code? There is plenty of these codes around and it really helps with performances. I'm running Mario Kart Wii on MacBook air at 30 fps at 1440 x 900 resolution with a Wii remote. I also recommend using the ishiiruka dolphin build with d3d12 or Vulkan (if you support it).
