Framelimiter has a bug but everybody think is better to enjoy what we have.
Thanks.
It definitely apparent in Dolphin even with a complete game playthrough and what I imagine is a full shader cache for that game. The judder in most games are not apparent unless you move the scene around (2D games, games with camera control and moving scenes). It's less obvious in Mario Galaxy games, but completely obvious in Zelda games/Donkey Kong/Paper Mario. The scene hitches causing small, obvious judders and this is with/without vsync changing around frame limiters from auto to audio.
Turning off Windows Aero helps a bit, but the overall smoothness is still not there. I'm running full speed when these happen and it's something that happens no matter what you're doing as long as the scene is moving. It's definitely an issue and I realize Dolphin is always going to be a work in progress, but it can be frustrating to see people say things like "it's your hardware" or "you're not using the right settings". This is definitely a unique judder to Dolphin alone and I never see this with any other emulators (BSNES, PCSX2).
With that said, I'm still overjoyed I had the chance to play Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 with a decent IQ as well as Skyward Sword. The hitching was a bit annoying, but still a lot better than the alternative 480p without any AA. I just hope this is something that gets fixed sometime.
