I understand your point and it is completely normal you think that way, but the developers aren't making the emulator run "less smooth" because they want to, if the game starts dropping fps on newer build that just means your cpu is struggling to keep up, it's your pc, not the devs
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.
