Exclamation
Hey guys!

I've just bought the Dolphin Bar and a Wiimote + Nunchuck Set. I did buy 3rd Party ones from Althemax, as the original ones are way too expensive (It would be somethin around 65€ for just one Wimote + Nunchuck; And I want two of them...). Now I have several Problems with it, I tried a lot of games. I'll list them, and I'll also list which Problems I had.
  • Wii Menu - Buttons work, but nothing else (including Motion Control) seems to work
  • Wii Sports - Buttons work, but nothing else (including Motion Control) seems to work
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Input completely not working
  • Mario Party 9 - Input completely not working
  • Mario Kart Wii - Input completely not working

Has anyone got an idea? (Sorry if I forgot some important information O.o)

Hmm, what version of Dolphin are you using, and do you have Passthrough enabled (only 5.0-915 or later have this feature, I believe)? Passthrough and the DolphinBar aren't very friendly...

I don't think that's the problem in this case. Bluetooth passthrough just flat-out doesn't work with the DolphinBar, so you wouldn't even be able to get the buttons to work.

Try without the Dolphinbar. Use Passthrough and see how that works. Keep in mind that it doesn't natively support pointing functions, so I'd set up 2 candles to act as a substitute for the IR lightbulbs.

How should I try it without the Dolphinbar? I need something to connect to my PC, and the Wiimotes don't have a cable or something.
Also, so you're telling me that motion control, which the Dolphin Bar is for is not compatible with it?

What do you mean?

If you want to do that, you would use a regular Bluetooth adapter.

I was trying to tell Zonafer that you weren't using Bluetooth passthrough. You can ignore that post if you want to.

What do you mean? So I should buy a Bluetooth adapter and connect my Wiimotes to it? How is this possible, and what should track the motion control then?

You still need a sensor bar in order for all the motion controls to work. The DolphinBar may or may not work as a sensor bar when you're using a separate Bluetooth adapter, it depends on the firmware and hardware revisions.
