Problems using Wiimote

Hello everyone.

I'm new to Dolphin and I've been trying to get it to work properly for over a week or 2 now. It plays games fine and dandy but I can't seem to get a controller to work properly. When I first downloaded it I was using an xbox controller which worked fine but I would like to player super mario galaxy 1 and 2. So I decided to go buy a wiimote, nunchuck, and a sensor bar.

I am using a bluetooth dongle and the wiimote will connect to my computer. When I sync it with dolphin its usually trial and error but once I finally get it working and it shows up as 1 active wiimote I start up a game. The controller will not work in the game even though dolphin says it is connected.

Anyone able to help here? I've scoured the forums and tried a variety of different things to no avail.

false forum, this is the right one -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=22322&action=lastpost (@Mods: pls move into correct section)

anyway, install the toshiba bluetooth stack, it's one of the best bluetooth drivers. (better than this crappy shit bundled with the bluetooth dongle Wink).

If this still don't work, maybe there is a problem with your wiimote. Do you use an original nintendo wiimote or an third party wiimote?

Where would I find this toshiba bluetooth stack? Would you happen to have a link?

Its an original Nintendo wiimote and nunchuck that I just bought on Friday. Its really odd because it will connect and vibrate when I hit refresh under the wiimote menu but when I go into a game none of the buttons work and it says that the connection has been interupted or something like that.

Thanks man.

no problem: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download

Also try this, maybe this can help: Right click on your game -> Properties -> Alternate Wiimote timing

The wiimote timing option was already enabled when I went in there just now. I downloaded the driver you linked to and it's trying to install but I keep getting a message asking me to please plug in the bluetooth device and press ok. It's been plugged in, I tried to unplug and plug back in and I keep getting the same message.

i think, this is a common problem, because the toshiba stack won't work any longer with non-thosiba-dongles.

try this -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=21590&pid=196550#pid196550

as far as i know, this should work.

I couldn't get that one to work, so found an older (or maybe cracked) version on another website. The link is: This for 64bit.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Radeon Vega 56
