Hey there,
I've been searching for hours now trying to get my Nintendo brand Wii Controller Plus (Non-TR) to show activity in dolphin.
The device shows up in the default windows bluetooth connection window and connects without issue. I can also get it to recognize in dolphin to the point that I get a sole light on port 1 and a vibration confirming connection. The problem is that once I load up a program (Using Wii system menu to test) I have no cursor and it does not accept input ex: press A to continue does not work.
I have tested it using emulated wiimote and by mapping my mouse to the motion inputs and A button and that seems to work. The cursor shows up, moves based on input and A button accepts.
Browsing here and other places I have found a few tidbits to try to troubleshoot.
I am using an Asus G53 laptop with integrated bluetooth that uses a broadcom chipset. I tried Bluesoleil and I could not get it to activate bluetooth, just told me bluetooth hardware was not found. A few people suggested trying the Toshiba Bluetooth stack as well but upon installation I reach the "Installing Bluetooth Driver" step and then after a moment it gives me the message "Please insert bluetooth device and press OK" but obviously I can't remove my device from the PC as it's integrated. I tried uninstalling the drivers that it has already installed as well as disabling/reenabling the device. Is anyone else having the same problem? Any advice? Do I need to buy a new bluetooth dongle?
Thanks in advance.
